​​Justin Bertges

I’d like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself and some of my work. My name is Justin Bertges and I have been working in the Special Effects field for years. I perform a variety of tasks ranging from molding and casting to fabrication and painting. I work for company's int the industry like KNB effects group, The Character Shop, Bone Yard Effects, Quantum Creation Fx, Anatomorphex, and Creative Character Engineering  . With my personality, beliefs, and experience in special effects, I know that I could be an excellent addition to your project.

I have been a lab assistant to multiple shops, though am proficient in sculpting and painting. I am an experienced modeler and painter; I’ve worked in scales ranging from 28mm to 1:1. I have worked with both airbrush and hand brush and I am familiar with a wide variety of hand brushing techniques to achieve a number of effects. However, my skills are not limited to painting; I have a plethora of experience in sculpting figures and busts in a variety of scales. I have also trained to create silicone molds of my figures to duplicate them in resin.

I possess an incredibly ambitious, enthusiastic attitude that is more than suitable for a position of this nature. Being punctual and reliable is an absolute must. Being that I have two young daughters, I maintain a very high level of responsibility in every aspect of my life, and I prefer it being this way. Though I may serious in terms of objectives to ensure a project is done well before it’s deadline, I am exceptionally outgoing and consider myself a major team player. I love to be involved with the work of every shop, and pull everything together as a team effort.
